All you can jet month

Here’s a great promotion for anyone wanting to visit a lot of places in the US, Central America, the Caribbean and South America.   JetBlue is an American low cost carrier who got a lot of publicity recently thanks to flight attendant Steven Slater throwing a bit of a dummy spit and exiting his plane via the escape chute.

That aside, JetBlue has announced a promotion called the “All-you-can-jet-month”, which means that for a cost of just $699 you can fly wherever you as often as you want for the month beginning September 7 and ending October 6, 2010.  That price allows you to fly for seven days a week.

For $499 you can fly for five days a week during the same period – those days being Monday to Thursday and Saturday, and its designed mainly for the business traveller.

JetBlue travels to about 60 destinations, including many Caribbean destinations, Bogata in South America, Cancun in Mexico and San Jose in the Dominican Republic.  With a little bit of planning, you could visit a lot of places in the allotted month.

This is not the first time JetBlue has had the promotion, and last time they did, many backpackers went travelling, and a bit of a competition developed to see who could visit the most number of places within the specified time.  Of course, if you do that, you may not get much quality time in any destination, but even if you decided to take it a little easier, you could still manage to rack up quite a few air miles, and enjoy a number of experiences.
